Realtime Tactics 2000
Realtime Tactics 2000 is a top-down 2D real-time tactics game where you don't micromanage, you command. Drag your units to a spot, and they take it from there: they move, fight, and capture on their own.
Capture the control point to win.
How it plays
Inspired by the King Of The Hill mode of Team Fortress 2, every match is a fight over territory. You give orders by dragging a unit to a destination, and a dotted line shows exactly where it intends to go. Once a unit arrives, or runs into an enemy along the way, it switches to autonomous mode and acts according to its class.
Your job is not to aim and click, it is to read the battlefield, decide who goes where, and trust your squad.
Know your units
- Quick (triangle): very fast but fragile. Perfect for grabbing points and flanking.
- Strong (square): slow and durable with high sustained firepower. Holds the line.
- Smart (circle): support unit that deploys turrets and health dispensers.
Readable by design
Simple geometric shapes and strong, contrasting solid colors. In this game, readability is a gameplay system: you should always understand what is happening on the battlefield at a glance.
